The most stressful thing about reunions is that everyone secretly knows the truth. It’s less about catching up with the old friends you have missed, and more about monitoring spirits coming together to see who has made it in life.
As if reuniting with old classmates who are eager to judge your life is not bad enough, you now have to drop money to make it happen. Someone will now fix their mouth to suggest a “small contribution” of N70,000.
With useless arguments, overfamiliarity, and off-point topics, there is no WhatsApp group on earth as chaotic as the one for a secondary school reunion.
